"Dark Ecology" investigates the duality of human existence. Consuming to survive, survive to consume. The hypocrisy that lies behind this post-truth is submerged within the surface of our ecologies. When retracted, reveals our skeletal selves, when outgrew, takes shapes and forms unlike any other species, and deforms and deforms and deforms as time passes, in an ever-evolving ecology of preferred darkness.

This decentering of the human involves a rejection of familiar Cartesian dualisms such as self/other, human/animal, and mind/body in favor of concerns such as materiality, affectivity, animals, technologies.
