I had arrived in Mock, the city hailed as the forefront of technological innovation and the next step towards the future of mankind. It felt fascinating to be surrounded by these megastrucutres that tore through the sky and adverts plastered all around with promises of a better you. It felt like being in the center of a crisis, bombarded by the chaos of information carrying a sharp glare that could easily blind you.

I had never seen anything like this yet I tried to look away in an attempt to shield my brain from the overwhelming stigma but then it moved. The figure in the centre was an actual human, trapped in a glass box, a lab rat being paid to pose and glorify an Augmented Mankind. It constantly pointed at me, trying to imbue me with a sense of urgency, to make me feel that I could be that, a higher being..an upgrade that could enslave me on this God forsaken place forever.

Now why would I want to Mock myself ?
