Description

The artwork was created using the Moebius ANSI editor.

87 columns, 43 rows, TOPAZ 437, 696*688. PNG.

In this work, I drew inspiration from the BBS (Bulletin Board System) aesthetic, which reflects the online community culture of the 1980s and early 1990s. Specifically, the ANSI-art login screen of The Shack Too, an old Fidonet system operated by Mark Ward, served as the starting point for this piece. These systems, accessed via modem on personal computers at the time, had a warm, handcrafted visual language emblematic of the early days of digital communication. I aimed to reinterpret this nostalgic language in a contemporary context, creating a bridge between digital history and the present. Pixelism - Batch #3 group exhibition curated by Kant
