“Coolpix” is a collection of six digital drawings and collages built from a single image of the Nikon Coolpix camera. Created in MS Paint and Photoshop using only a mouse, the works emulate the roughness of clay and are later transformed into looping GIFs. Each piece integrates fragments of digital landscapes, layering them over the camera’s structure to evoke a sense of playful reconstruction. Designed for a cybercafé exhibition, the series pays homage to the early days of Internet Explorer and the tactile joy of 2000s digital culture. Through nostalgic textures, retro computing motifs, and sticker-like details, “Coolpix” explores the obsolescence of technology and the lingering beauty of digital memory.
