<p>Colors of Costa Rica is a collection of 15 1/1 photos compiled from my favorite shots from a trip that reignited a spark within me that had been lost. I went down to Costa Rica in January of 2020 with a one way ticket, a bag for my clothes, and my camera bag, not really having the desire to create at the time. I had been struggling for years at this point trying to figure out how to make it with photography, and the focus on trying to monetize my photography started to burn me out, and truthfully, turn me away from photography.</p> <p>And then I got to Costa Rica. And that burnout turned into an ignition of my dwindling spark. The colors, the energy, the lushness... everything around me had this energy about it. I felt completely rejuvenated. I was seeing the world with a brand new set of eyes. I felt healed.</p> <p>I hope this collection translates that same passion and energy that I felt from that trip, into these photos. </p>
