I’ve dealt with claustrophobia for as long as I can remember. It is less about being confined in a small space but the overwhelming thought of being trapped. It took me at least a decade to work on different coping mechanisms to subdue the urge to run and open the plane door when it is ready for take off. Through many flights, across thousands of miles, I unknowingly captured and collected photos by a positively distracted mind. This Window Seat set is a document of the miracle of flight when we gaze out of the window, gifted with the bird’s-eye view. And it is also a subtle reminder of the person behind the photos who has to feel little and be humbled by the colors of the world below us in order to fight their fears.
