Inspired by the pattern of hydrogen atom's electron cloud, I created this work, Clouds of Quantum Particles, in p5js.

The quantum particles will be randomly initialled and start to rotate around the center. At the same time, these particles will also be affected by continual forces which are controlled by series of periodic functions. During this process, some particles may deorbit to collapse at some positions, when others keep oscillating around their orbit. The colour will be rendered based on the particle positions, with random bias.

Different hash will initial the program with different parameters of the particles’ positions and the periodic functions, then bring various beautiful visual effects.
