Dear friends,

for those of you who have browsed my LinkTree or read my Pinned Thread on Twitter, you know that besides a full-time job, I also have my own little side business decorating cakes. You find my homepage at tortenmaus.de, and it is also my Instagram handle.

A lot of people have encouraged me to bring my cakes onto the blockchain, too, but I was hesitant.

But one day recently, I noticed that there is always excess dough or other ingredients that are not used up.

It made me think about those who are not fortunate enough to have plenty of food, and I wanted to give a face to that. Not my own, of course, but I chose to give a meaning of the rests that normally get thrown out. This is what "Cake Faces" is about.

Everything here has his original 'design' made with or based on food.
