“Chapada” is a photo essay about the sensation of scale reference loss experienced in contact with lush natural landscapes, where we often feel tiny in relation to the whole set and gigantic in relation to the small details; it is also about the feeling of connection and belonging to the natural world aroused by these landscapes. I tried to give the pieces a kind of oniric atmosphere befitting these experiences. Photos taken in 2019 at Chapada Diamantina, Bahia, Brazil.
