A storm approaches the temporary structure of the Carnivále. There is a much greater force inside than the storm.

Carnivále is a remembrance of a time from an alternate dimension. 1920s and 1930s America. One in which differences between people are significant but more readily accepted. A time when everyone was broke but knew how to have a respectful good time.
