Perfect Sunbathing Guide: Season: summer, spring or autumn, depending on where you live, you can sunbathe all year long. Ideal weather: sunny, heat haze sometimes can be even stronger, so watch out. Time: except between 10am and 3pm you’re good to go, unless you don’t care about your skin in the future. Tools: body, towel, sunscreen, water bottle. Optional tools: beach chair, beach umbrella, ocean, pool and spray water bottle. Garments: bikini/trunks, or nothing. Extra garments: a comfy dress, beach robe, shorts, yoke (canga, sarong, pareo…) and flip-flops, or nothing. Accessories: beach bag, hat, sunglasses, towel (careful with jewelry, they can burn your skin or leave a white mark, and, at some beaches, they can be stollen.Careful with sunglasses, they can leave a white mark too). How: lie down on your back for 15 minutes, turn around on your stomach for 15 minutes, turn to one side for 5 minutes with the lower leg to the front, turn to the other side for 5 minutes in the same position, REPEAT. MUST DO: if you care about your skin: use the highest, strongest sunscreen, especially on your face. Don’t forget ears, shoulders and the decolletage area. On the rest of your body use sunscreen too, never butter or kitchen oil. Use a hat and/or look for a shadow to leave your head under. Drinks: water bottle, coconut or beer and caipirinha if you’re in it for fun and not only work. Food: fruits and veggies, or oily tasty shrimps and ice-cream or corn, 100% full of butter and salt. MUSIC Tips: In case there’s no clean body of water nearby, use a spray bottle of water to cool off. When putting the sunscreen ask for someone to help with your back, especially, a good-looking man/woman. If there’s no one around, do it yourself and pray. Don’t look straight at the sun, it’s bad for your vision, you’ll see purple spots in darkness or lightness. WATCH OUT: At the beach careful with flying umbrellas in case there’s too much wind. Enjoy
