This artwork began as a photograph of someone.

Cut up and rearranged digitally, it took on another life. Another identity.

Then, through the play of various file types it went through more degradation. The capricious glitch had no mercy.

Lastly, it was edited in Photoshop, to bring out the colour, and the form, and the unrecognizable features that remain only as textures. Mere traces of what the portrait used to be.
