Moth Represents quiet, unseen transformation rather than evident change like the butterfly. They live and shift in darkness, are drawn to light despite the risk, and across folklore are read as spirits moving between worlds.

Shapes I used:

Earring — Filigree I thought about the filigree technique — a delicate, handmade jewelry method popular in Italy, where fine strands of metal are woven into a net-like pattern. It felt fitting since filigree mirrors the intricate, precious connection between a mother and daughter.

Daisy Emerged unintentionally while creating the earring, carried over from one of the answers.

Purse / Bag / Pouch My first instinct was a kangaroo shape, symbolizing a kind of care that expects nothing in return — like a kangaroo carrying its young. Searching for other pouched animals led to the sugar glider, which seemed more fitting for various motives. Drawn out, it ended up looking like a bat instead. I reworked it into an actual bag or pouch — made of leather, to carry a baby, with a scent that evokes deep, reflective thought.

Rope Symbolizing the magical, invisible connection between the sky and the Earth.

Intentional elements:

Third Eye Placed at the center between the two main eyes, not as a separate feature but as a third way of seeing. It represents duality not as conflict but as integration: two perspectives merging into one gaze.

Red Sun Placed above the moth, representing the light it's always seeking. Burgundy rather than gold or white, to match the piece — but still carrying that same intensity: life force, power, warmth offered to the one who holds it.

Emerging shape worth mentioning:

Pearl Like the daisy, the pearl appeared unintentionally — emerging at the center of the piece without being planned. Pearls form through irritation, layer by layer, turning something foreign into something valuable over time. It represents patience, protection, and the idea that discomfort can quietly become beauty.
