During the Bosque Gracias artist residency in Patagonia, Argentina, I developed a collection based on 30 stones collected from the river. On each one, I drew faces and expressions, allowing the natural angles, shapes, and textures of the stones to guide the emergence of each character. The process was deeply connected to time spent in the river — observing, touching, and choosing the stones while the water flowed was an essential part of the work. The collection emerges from this encounter between body, landscape, and gesture, exploring my relationship with drawing, facial expressions, and the materiality found in the forest.
