Throughout my life I've come in harms way many times. And although I did not make it through unscathed, I did make it through. Often I've felt lucky, or watched over, and thankful for how things turned out given the circumstances.

A friend told me I definitely have a guardian angel and the idea stuck with me. Though I don't rely on her to keep me safe, it's nice to think she walks with me. In my darkest moments, I am not alone.

This artwork is how I imagine her.

Otherworldly, glowing, surrounded by light wherever she goes. When she's not looking after my reckless self, I see her wandering in faraway forests and drifting amongst the stars.
