Manijeh is the Turani princess in the Shahnameh, who is known for her love story with Iranian hero Bijan. Despite the enmity between the nations, Manijeh falls in love with Bijan and helps him enter his father's palace secretly. When Shah Afrasiab found out about this, he imprisoned Bijan and exiled Manijeh. She remains loyal despite her hardships and secretly takes care of Bijan until the Persian hero Rostam saves her.
