It lurks in the shadows and rarely shows face when it's light. Unless, it's on the hunt for The Righteous. Death Lord is neither human nor demon in its form but, it shares no moral values with the human race. It kills for pleasure and consumes the soul. For Death Lord to be able to consume the soul of its victims, it has to remain with the victim until their last breath otherwise the 'consumption' will not be complete.

It has been witnessed by a few brave souls (some dispute their bravery and brand them as mad) that Death Lord enjoys a slow and painful death. It lingers around its victim and tries to preserve the life its prey for as long as possible. The satisfaction Death Lord receives from this practise has put fear in the hearts of even the most devout 'Righteous'.
