From a series of photocopy collages that started in late 2017 and continues to this day – the works are created using Photoshop layering techniques from government document source materials – no AI is used – these textures are built from the margins of scans of photocopies of documents that were in less than pristine shape – many of which, ironically, are stamped at the top of each page with the phrase Best Available Copy.
