Sonia Gil creates abstractions of maps, mixing watercolors, photographs and graphic drawings, in a process that starts with brush and paint and ends as a digital collage. Working with a diversity of techniques, and mixing different elements is her way of trying to express the complexity life, be it the urban environment, or the human mind and our emotions and passions.
