Since 60 years ago, walls were built along some parts of the coast of Bandar Abbas, located in Iran.

These walls were built to prevent sea water from entering the city, when the sea was rough, people would come to the side of these walls and watch the waves hit the walls.

These walls have been damaged for about 10 years and they use big stones to prevent water from entering the city.
