years ago, i used to make these mixed media, paper collages before getting into animation. i've been wanting to get back into it, so decided for this collaboration to try one out and see how it goes. of course, i had to make it move.

ashes2ashes: artist makes a work. documents that work, sets that work on fire, documents that fire, sends ashes to an artist. artist makes a work incorporating ashes. sets that work on fire. repeat. repeat. repeat. till there’s too much time and space between the burning stars and all the lights go out.
