i arrived in tezos land in late 2021 at first just poking around but made some friends and their openness to oddities and weirdos helped me get back into a visual art practice for which i am very grateful. i made my physical ashes2ashes "a friendly welcome" piece in the vein of my project "tantamonster" where i made objects from stuff laying around the house and the ashes from kelly's piece was mixed into the paper mache mixture.

artist makes a work. documents that work. sets that work on fire. documents that fire. sends ashes to an artist. artist makes a work incorporating ashes. sets that work on fire. repeat. repeat. repeat. forever and ever. till there’s too much time and space between the burning stars and all the lights go out
