Artificial Autography is a digital art collection that explores the uniqueness and variability of hand writing, ones signature, tag or autograph in particular. Every signature is inherently different even ever so slightly every time we sign, much like every output of a AI image is different with each generation. This collection captures the essence of physical signatures by creating artificial variations based on an original handwritten sample. The original physical piece was photographed, and then edited 22 times to create 22 unique images. Those images were then input into emprops software using variable image2image with added text prompts, and text variable prompts. The result has created a diverse array of outputs with varying signatures, textures, and layered looks.
