"Articles from never" Is a series of 3 conceptual images existing in a publication from an alternate reality. In this reality technology has compromised what we know as a natural symbiosis with man and machine. Fill in the blanks as you may, imagine the context as you see fit, but fundamentally I wanted to convey the feeling of fighting a loosing battle with technology, formatted in a way that is intimately one on one with the audience.
"Faith" is the second piece of this series, focusing on the feeling of submission, and accepting something greater than yourself, whatever that may be. Finally understanding and embracing the inevitability of change.
Text reads: /fāTH/ - strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof. "bereaved people who have shown supreme faith" Although he walks alone, with him follows his sense of purpose. A crutch of morality and pillars of judgement. Without it a hollow shell. A lost vessel wandering, meandering, a thin veil between him and those he passes judgement. His brothers and sisters follow a path, one that has been dug as deep as it is narrow. A guided light foreboding a destination as uncertain as the idols they prophecize. Superficially alone, personally alone, left alone, but in trust of their savior, together. Where may you rest if, when you fall, there is no god to catch you. For some there is no other option, knees buckling as they lean into what many call “faith.”
