Description

Magical Kyanite Lake Falls is a 100-metre high waterfall on Frog Island, in Kyanite Lake, Kenora District, Ontario, Canada. Ancient ruins surrounding the lake is rumored to be a "time travel chamber", due to the structure's large open and round holes.

According to legend, if one dips a stone in the lake while making the sign of the cross three times, the water around the stone will freeze and the lake will slowly freeze over around the stone, while a couple of ice fountains will erupt out of it. If someone makes the sign of the cross backwards, the water around the stone will still freeze, but the fountain will spray water all over the place. If one makes the sign of the cross upside-down, the water will burst, as if someone had thrown a bomb into the lake. There are legends of this lake and island being haunted by the natives of past generations.

At the bottom of the lake are two small islands which can be reached by a small boat. On one of the islands is an old, wooden wheel which holds memories of the past. Behind the wheel is a small footbridge, to the other island.
