Tari Golek Ayun-ayun is a dance from Yogyakarta, in the heart of the island of Java. This dance tells a story of a girl growing up and enjoying primping herself. It was created by KRT Sasmintadipura in 1976.

Indonesia is an archipelago of over 17000 islands. There are many tribes, with their own individual dances and costumes, spread along these islands. I want to share with you the dances of my family heritage and of places I live.
