Primavera showcases a young woman on the cusp of adulthood, but defiantly rejecting the societal expectations that come with it. It features symbolic elements in the form of small baby-like figures and flowers that represent the traditional roles and duties imposed on women by society.
Despite the pressure to conform, the woman in the artwork embraces her individuality and refuses to be limited by the constraints of societal norms. The colours and intricate details of the artwork are meant to draw the viewer in, inviting them to contemplate the struggle between societal expectations and personal identity.
Primavera speaks to the strength and resilience of women who dare to break free from society's limitations, to live the life they want, not the life expected of them.
