Re-appropriating Andy Warhol's "Marilyn Monroe, 1967," (originally appropriated from Eugene Kornmann's photo of the actress) as a generative art piece.
How will we look back upon our Icons? Once we pick them apart, can we ever put them back together again?
Technical notes: There are no image files contained within the package: the script places random shapes by looking up the coordinates and colors in an included text file. A random "Chaos" value is introduced, and then compounded by a growing "Entropy" value. The final result is a completely unique 36" x 36" artwork. Some will be so uniform in pattern that they are instantly recognizable as expressions of the inspirational work. Most will be a gradient of sorts, from order to chaos. A rare few will be completely transformed by disorder.
