When I came to New Mexico I only planned to stay for a weekend. I’ve been here 4 months. The high desert magic with its wild horses, virga lightning storms and lonely expanses of juniper and piñon has held me here like some kind of invisible bond. This project speaks for itself—a simple yet deeply personal visual/written journal of my life in rural New Mexico. I’ll keep making photographs for this collection as long as I call this place home.
