During a short stay in Chicago, I found myself on the 21st floor of a skyscraper looking down over the city where everything seemed so small and out of scale. I found a unique perspective of a big city that I had never seen before and couldn’t look away; it almost felt like living inside a toy box.

After making my way around the space, I found myself looking down at an unusual scene right off of Michigan Avenue. There appeared to be some sort of accident, but it seemed strange. It was a little too perfect. There was a sense of organized chaos.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the chaos of a big city when you are on the sidewalk and everything is passing you by. However, when you look at things from a new perspective, above it all, you realize the scale of each of our lives that only a city like Chicago can truly show you.
