This is a minimal reproduction of the Virgin Annunciate (from Antonello da Messina, 1476), which investigates how much information we can subtract to a digital art reproduction without losing its function and enjoyability. The original artwork has been reduced to a maximum of 64*64px (4kpx) and its color-depth decreased to max. 16 web-safe colors.
