Bandhani (Gujarati:બાંધણી) is a type of Indian tie-dye textile decorated by plucking the cloth with the fingernails into many tiny bindings that form a figurative design. The term bandhani is derived from the Sanskrit verbal root bandh ("to bind, to tie").

The goal of this art is to take maximalist and minimalist approaches in visualizing the Indian textile.This art was inspired by all the bandhani saris I’ve seen growing up.

Ultimately, taking nostalgic traditional textiles and modernizing them as generative art on-chain using code.
