This work uses abstract shapes in motion to render an almost "representational" image in front of your eyes.

The image seeks to evoke the steep banks and rising mists of the Yangtze River.

In some rare cases, lightning or 'dragon energy' can strike down from the sky in crooked downward strokes, and skinnier wisps of smoke from rising from the smokestacks of boats below can also be seen.

In truth -- it is only an abstract kinetic sculpture, a play of light and shadow, but some viewers may find themselves transported to that beautiful river scene, where the morning light reaches into the winding valley....
