This project explores the evolution of an abstract society of colours through a genetic algorithm. Each colour is driven by a wish to conform to their neighbours, and to separate themselves from whatever colour found diametrically opposed itself. As the generations go by in the thousands, communities of similarity will emerge, with cultural differences appearing as both jumps in colour and disjointedness. The process is computationally demanding and may not run full speed on all computers.
