Description

Every single millisecond, your flower will change its colors slightly in relation to the time of the season. Your edition will be assigned with 4 predetermined palettes that the flower will transform between as the seasons pass, so it's important to note, while the patterns will always remain the same, the palette you see now will not be the same when you come back and view it 6 or even 1 month from now.

The aesthetic is a balance of boldness and subtle natural colors, inspired by japanese Mon (紋)(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mon_(emblem)). I wanted it to amplify the colors of the current season, while also being able to work in the context of a digital frame in your home or as an avatar on a website. The subtle textures help give it more of an organic and natural feeling, while the bold strokes create a more emblematic mon-like symbol.

PARAMETERS

View the animated version: &animate=true Note: this is pretty CPU heavy. If you find it's choppy, try reducing the canvas size (see below).

Adjust the speed: &speed={5} Note: the default speed is 5, but the param accepts any number here. I recommend something between 0.5 and 50

Adjust the dimensions to whatever you'd like: &x={width}&y={height} Note: the performance will start to diminish drastically for animated metamorph's that are over ~800px

KEY COMMANDS

Save the artwork as a .jpeg at any time by clicking s.

Note: The "Image Composition" label is selected here since I've overlayed a noise.png file in order to allow for performant animation in animation mode.
