Moneta Divina: Trancendance by Lucho Poletti

Transcendence: “Existence or experience beyond the normal or physical level."

The third and final piece of the Moneta Divina series, Transcendence takes a spiritual approach to show the process of transformation in economic energy; channeling the energy through 7 stages (chakras) in a meditative journey transcending the physical world. Taking inspiration from Alex Grey’s visionary art style, Transcendence draws an analogy to the process of Kundalini rising to illustrate my vision for a major transformation of economic energy from the fiat-based central banking system to bitcoin’s open and free monetary network.

The animation begins with streams of dollars coalescing under a blooming lotus flower and entering through the Root, channeling the dollars upwards. As the energy rises up through the Sacral, it begins glowing hot and bursts into flames at the Solar plexus, transferring the raw energy to the heart and transforming it into hexadecimal code at the Throat. From the Throat, the digital code is sent up to the Third Eye, bringing enlightenment to the subject and finally activating the Crown chakra to complete the sequence and transcend the physical world.

Once the process of transcendence is complete, the subject is re-composed in the physical world; bringing in visual elements from both Intervention and Transmutation to tie together the 3 artworks and conclude the story.
