As the day progressed, the previously digested snacks really began to take hold of the riders. At this point in the experience, the riders were joined by a third rider on horseback. However, unable to speak coherent sentences, they could not distinguish if the new rider was a part of their reality or their visions. As the sky faded into a swirl of colors, they kept their thoughts isolated and continued on their path home.
