A response to the phenomenon of cause and effect.

We think ourselves to be smart creatures for we have the ability to think, make decisions and communicate. And yet, we also often have to face the consequences of our past actions as we might have been short sighted in our purview in the past, maybe just as we might be even now. And we shall no not unless the future arrives. And to make matters a tiny bit more complex, my decisions might affect your reality and your decision may affect mine.

We all understand causality, just like we understand Newton's third law of motion. The problem isn't in our understanding but in the limits we try to impose on it. For example, a person who doesn't wish to be short sighted will think of the future. But what does that mean? How exactly far out into the future should or even could a person think of? For you can always add another day to that same number hence making it quite the wicked problem.
