The ground in this spot is a deep burgundy, stained with the sap of a blood wood tree that hangs over it. Pools of ruby crystals form ever day in a glacial flow. This work is an offering to the trees. An arrangement in the stained earth and a symbol of the blood that weaves all life together in the intricate web of the natural world.
