Bio
Zhou Zeliang (b. 1992) works across photography, installation and video around a recurring concept he calls “cyclical renewal”. Since 2023 he has also experimented with AI-generated art, treating the “Loading” process itself as an art form rather than mere anticipation. His works are marked by unpredictability and impermanence, with a timeless quality that lacks a clear beginning or end.
Zhou was born in Nanchang, in Jiangxi Province, China, and relocated to Paris at eighteen to study fine arts. He studied at fine arts academies in Versailles, Tourcoing and Nantes, graduating from the Nantes school's digital arts program in 2017. He then founded his own studio in Paris, and lives and works between Paris and Shanghai.
