Bio
Y Griega is a Mexican digital artist working in glitch art and AI-assisted image-making. She reworks her own earlier cryptoart pieces into new compositions by feeding them through AI, describing the process as an extension of the way she plays with audio effects and resampling in music. Glitch techniques also recur in her collaborative work, including reworkings contributed to community collections such as DEATH PUNK.
The FEEDERS, a 2023 collection of ninety-nine AI-generated pieces made from her earlier cryptoart, opened for public mint on Foundation on August 30, 2023 at 0.015 ETH each. “I’ve fed with my own art AI’s capabilities to craft a selection of entrancing pieces”, she said of the series.
