Xponential is a gif loop creator whose work also spans After Effects teaching, projection mapping and VJ loop content. Many of the artist's animated GIFs were made years before being minted as NFTs, and their pieces often lay out that history, including where each GIF first appeared, where it was shared and how many times it was viewed on sites like Giphy.
Xponential also curates other motion artists, sharing their work in Twitter threads that highlight talented creators in the field. In 2023 the artist contributed Pyramidal Niesen and Pyramidal Niesen Dither, GIF and PNG works, to “Niesen 3.0”, a group exhibition built around depictions of the Niesen mountain. Other GIF works include Binary Neutron-Star Merger Event, made in 2017, and Gole Puff Loop X, released in 2020 as a set of ten editions.
