simoneup is an Italian 3D artist and animator who creates a colorful 3D universe intended to be free of discrimination. Their collections comment on themes such as technology's relationship with nature, social apathy, and community life. Work from the series Sweet Dreams was released through Foundation, drawing on ideals of freedom that simoneup associates with web3.
In Roads to life, made in collaboration with Joe Fnord and inspired by his collection Il battistrada, simoneup imagines new artificial life forms moving straight toward progress without pausing to question the road ahead. Energy revolution pictures robots that have brought technology and nature into balance and are working to repair damage humans left behind. Block of Flats, begun after simoneup moved from a house into an apartment building in Turin, imagines the building's residents through a series made in collaboration with other artists. In 2023 a work from Energy revolution was shown in Hong Kong during Art Basel with Art Innovation Gallery.
