Bio

WizardX is a pseudonymous digital artist and an early figure in the CryptoArt and TrashArt movements that took shape on Ethereum art platforms from 2019 onward.^, His work is pop art with an absurd, haunting and at times political edge, made using dozens of computational manipulation techniques ranging from machine learning to simple online meme-generator tools.

In 2019 his work The End is Near was included in the Thoreau Centre for the Blockchain Arts, an archival collection of early blockchain art. In January 2020 he minted wizardx avatar united, an image manipulated using early computational AI algorithms. He also originated the character DEATH PUNK, which grew into a shared collection that other artists have since contributed to.

His generative work has been released on Art Blocks under the project titles Prohibition, God Candles and Flowers and Alien Signature. He has collaborated with artists including XCOPY and Robness.
