White Koala is a generative artist based in Lisbon who began working in visual art as a teenager, alongside a separate day job in the corporate world. Early work included sketchnoting and watercolor urban sketching before a move into collage and, from 2022, generative art.
The move into generative art grew out of an interest in visually representing real-world events through code, which over time evolved toward abstract compositions with an emphasis on composition and color. White Koala shares this work on X and the generative art platform fxhash.In April 2024, White Koala released Finding the Way, a generative collection the artist described as offering “infinite variations” to explore.
