Waxhead is a generative artist whose work combines historical imagery with a vanguardist, technology-driven approach. A 2022 review of generative art NFTs singled out this combination as unique within the field. In 2021 that work was shown in an augmented-reality exhibition at Montreal's MURAL Festival alongside the artist Cryote.
In 2025 Waxhead was one of the curators of the fourth edition of RGBMTL, a Montreal-based collective and non-profit that celebrates digital art on the Tezos blockchain.
