warrragwag takes his handle from a Hiligaynon word meaning “to spread, to disseminate, to broadcast”. Self-exiled from a background in architecture and interior design, he creates 3D images, motion graphics and immersive metaverse environments, drawing on his experience in architectural visualization. His guiding principle, in his own words, is to “make architecture weird again”.,
He works primarily in Blender, using its Geometry Nodes feature for procedural modeling, and finishes pieces with DaVinci Resolve and Affinity Photo, often adding original music and sound effects. He experimented with AI image generation during the early surge of diffusion models in spring 2022, and continues to sketch and doodle throughout his process. Before turning to cryptoart, between 2012 and 2019 he published hand-made traditional art in various mediums on social media under the name jvliveh, and he still occasionally paints in acrylic on canvas.
At the end of 2022 he began creating immersive, game-like environments on metaverse platforms including Hyperfy, Spatial and the MOCA ROOMs ecosystem run by the Museum of Crypto Art.His Blob Town Series, shown in 2023 through MOCA ROOMs, was fully claimed by collectors. In Brutal Cubes (2023), presented at the Decentraland Mesh Fair, and A Little Rain Must (2024), which won a Bronze award at Decentraland's Wellness Week, he built walkable, architecture-driven virtual spaces. His interactive gallery WRG1248 guides visitors through portals to his selected works and his MOCA Rooms architecture pieces.
