Childhood memories of drawing and painting on the floor prompted me to look for ways to create drawings in an enjoyable and accessible way. This led me to create my work on mobile phones. ( I refer to the various digital editing tools for drawing/painting as digital-synthesizers because this conveys the initial intuitive musical thinking process which is expressed through drawings/paintings. I work on them as I work on my electronic music; I play the double bass and electric bass, and then using them as a basis for my work, put those sounds into tools like mpc3000, mc909, or cakewalk. ) Just as I play music, I play paintings.
