Bio
uyo66, born Suryo Prakadewa, is an illustrator and cartoonist based in Surakarta, Indonesia. He describes his practice as that of a “Rubberhose Dealer”. He creates 1930s-style paintings and animations inspired by early cartoons such as Felix the Cat and Mickey Mouse, giving them a fun and devilish twist. His black and white pieces pay homage to that era, while his color work combines bright hues with a matte finish.
His work spans childhood vignettes, recreations of classic cartoon favourites, and social critique, all rendered in a consistent, recognizable style. In 2025 he created No TAP, No Treat, an edition of 310 released as part of The Memes on 6529.io, minted on 27 October 2025.
