Bio
Utuququ is an artist who works primarily in ink on paper and ink on cotton paper, producing drawings built from small, repeating marks. In Mouvement Perpétuel, they describe the repetition of a sign as a sensation of movement that leads them into places they had not perceived before. Across the body of work, recurring themes of memory, origin and childhood surface through short texts the artist pairs with each drawing.
